Gender Bias: Art Exhibition Hosted by Recycled Propaganda

Join us for the opening of “Gender Bias” a show featuring Robin Slonina, Kristy Lee and Recycled Propaganda.

Robin Slonina has been a professional artist for over 20 years. Her artwork has been collected and exhibited in museums and galleries across the world, and if you are familiar with the Las Vegas art scene her work will be no stranger to you. She will be exhibiting her Wonder Woman series of paintings. Her favorite character growing up, Wonder Woman gave her strength and inspiration. In this ode to her heroine she hopes to inspire the next generation of little girls, believing “We are all Wonder Women”.

Kristy Lee is a relative newcomer to the visual art scene in Vegas, becoming increasingly active the last year. She has a background in modelling, music and entertainment and her work hopes to navigate life’s many dualities. Painting from both life experience and memory, her exhibit will explore sexism and the rigidity of gender roles. An immersive experience, her room will feature sewing, painting and neon.

Recycled Propaganda will be exhibiting all new works reflecting on the a history of gender oppression and resistance within popular culture. It will feature classic designs such as “Moral Assault” and “#MeToo” as well as new, never before seen works.

The “Time Machine portals” will continue their exhibit featuring over 20 of Las Vegas’ top urban artists within medicine cabinets, https://www.facebook.com/events/265530011354432/
