For more than two decades, Pauly Shore has been an iconic figure in show business in front of the camera, and for the last 10 years, behind the scenes with multiple producer, director, and creator credits. And, for more than six decades, Sammy Shore has been standing on stages around the world making people laugh. Simply put, they are funny!

Pauly has most recently starred in comedy specials, and scripted films for the premiere cable network Showtime, and various Independent films that enjoyed worldwide distribution including: “Adopted,” “Pauly Shore is Dead,” and “Pauly~tics.”

It all started when the 17-year-old Shore made his stand-up debut at the Alley Cat Bistro in Culver City, California. He was being mentored by the late, great Sam Kinison. While touring the comedy club circuit, Pauly cultivated an alter ego persona, “The Weasel.” “The Weasel” involved Shore speaking in a Jeff Spicoli-esque surfer parlance, heavily peppered with, dudespeak slang, such as, “edged,” “melons,” and “grinding,” as well as his catchphrase, “Hey, BU-DDY.”

Shore’s big break came as an on-air MTV-VJ, from 1989-1994. At the height of his MTV fame, Pauly had his own show, “Totally Pauly,” serving as a host on MTV’s annual spring break parties. Shore starred in “Encino Man” which was followed by “Son in Law,” “In the Army Now,” “Jury Duty” and “Bio-Dome.”

Sammy Shore is “The Man Who Made Elvis Laugh” and is an American comedy legend, who along with his former wife, the mother of Pauly, founded the Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip. He was hand-picked by Colonel Parker to be Elvis’ opening act during the King’s infamous 1969-1972 “Comeback Tour” in Las Vegas.

Sammy currently performs his stand-up comedy routine in nightclubs and casinos across America, including Las Vegas, Reno, and Laughlin, Nevada. Sammy’s new book, “The “Man Who Made Elvis Laugh,” can be purchased at www.amazon.com, and other book retailers. For details, visit www.elvislaugh.com.
