Firefly* Tapas Kitchen + Bar Announces New Location in Southwest Las Vegas
Firefly* Tapas Kitchen + Bar is making many of its fans elated with plans of an expansion. Restaurateurs John and Tabitha Simmons have announced their newest venture, another Firefly* Tapas Kitchen + Bar restaurant, set to open in the southwest Las Vegas area at 7355 S. Buffalo Dr. A soft opening is slated later this month (Pictured: Mixed Paella).
The 2,400-square-foot space will accommodate up to 80 guests inside and will have an airy color palette featuring a combination of bold bright hues and warm earth tones under a sky-lit dining area. Additionally, a large outdoor “backyard” patio will be featured.

“Firefly* has been a staple in the Las Vegas community for 16 years,” said Co-owner and Chef John Simmons. “By expanding to serve patrons in the southwest part of the valley, we invite in new customers as well as current fans of Firefly* to enjoy our delicious tapas and refreshing drinks in a great Vegas neighborhood. This addition is really exciting for us, and we couldn’t be happier to open in a growing part of town.”
Known for its collection of hot, chilled, vegetarian and gluten-free tapas, sharable paellas, house-made sangrias and vibrant atmosphere, the new Firefly* will offer guests a familiar experience with a refreshing twist. Its intimate environment boasts fan favorites and new additions, including Salmon Crudo, Stuffed Dates, Patatas Bravas, Pulpo Asado, Camarones al Ajillo, Albondigas, and many more. Signature sangrias, fresh mojitos and handcrafted cocktails will be available by the glass or pitchers, as well as an extensive wine and beer list for a perfect pairing.
The new Firefly* will initially be open from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 4 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with hopes to expand into lunch, brunch and late-night hours.
