Attendees for this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival2021 festival in Las Vegas will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID test result within 72 hours before first entering the festival, according to the event’s website.

EDC states festivalgoers can either show a physical copy of their vaccination card, digital vaccine record, or negative test result at the entrance of the festivals.

Attendees opting for a negative COVID-19 test result must take the test within 72 hours of first entering the festival, or between Oct. 20 – Sunday, Oct. 24.

The festival also states that a rapid antigen COVID-19 test or negative PCR test result that was administered by an official testing center is accepted. Test results must be dated no more than 72 hours prior to entry.

At-home testing kits that identify the test takers and provide a timestamp of when the test was taken are also accepted, according to the website.

Attendees who have only received one dose of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will need to obtain a negative test within 72 hours prior to first entering the festival.

A photo of your vaccine card, digital vaccine record, or negative test results on your phone will also allow entry, the website states.

Festivalgoers can find testing options here.

Like previous festivals, this year’s EDC takes place Oct. 22-24 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
