Las Vegas Legends, one of the newest expansion teams in the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL), have signed the first player in team history. Enrique Tovar, renown for being a top scoring threat, brings his high-speed soccer skills to the desert as Coach Greg Howes begins to build a team that will be immediately competitive.

Tovar has played professional arena soccer for more than 7 years and most recently played for Syracuse Silver Knights in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). He has also donned the jerseys for the San Jose Earthquakes in Major League Soccer, Anaheim Bolts in the PASL as well as California Cougars and Rockford Rampage in the MISL.
“Enrique is such a dynamic player that I knew he would be the first player we brought on as a Legend,“ says Greg Howes, head coach of the Las Vegas Legends. “I have seen firsthand that he is the consummate big-game player and his experience will certainly be an asset to our team.”
Open tryouts for the Las Vegas Legends are being held Aug. 20 and 21 at 9 p.m. as well as Aug. 25 at noon at Las Vegas Indoor Soccer, located at 1400 N. Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89128.
