Indie/rock duo Middle Class Rut is bringing their two-piece band from Sacramento to the glimmering lights of Las Vegas. They will perform at Sway Pool Lounge at Silverton Casino Hotel on May 5, 2012.
Zach Lopez on vocals/guitar and Sean Stockham on vocals/drums grew up together and spent some time in a band signed to Dreamworks during their teen years. After this time they decided to venture out on their own, and after working hard to write and record music that was true to their souls, Middle Class Rut was born.
The duo played a national tour in 2007 and released their single “New Low” that same year, which turned out to be a hit receiving plenty of local airplay and was later listed on Billboard’s Rock Songs chart in 2010.
Lopez and Stockham signed to the label Bright Antenna in 2008 through which they released two EPs and their full-length debut album No Name, No Color in 2010.
The guys have since toured the U.S. with other notable bands, such as Social Distortion, Alice in Chains and more recently Chevelle.
This rock duo is one not to be missed as they take over the poolside audience at Sway Pool Lounge.
