The head coach of the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels basketball team, Dave Rice, will host ‘An Evening with Dave Rice’ on May 4 at the Palms Casino & Resort. The inaugural event, which will benefit the Dave Rice Foundation and The UNLV Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, will have more than 400 people in attendance.

The special evening will include food, drinks, auctions and the presentation of the Kenny Guinn Award for Commitment to Community. Legendary UNLV basketball stars such as Stacy Augmon and others will attend and serve as Honorary Chairmen of the event. Special guests will include former Nevada Governor Bob Miller and his wife Sandy, former Chairman of the Clark County Commission Rory Reid, Clark County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly and several of UNLV’s Board of Regents.

A VIP cocktail reception and silent auction will kick off the event at 6:30 p.m., followed by the event program at 7:30 p.m. Although only a few individual tickets remain available, donations can be made online to benefit the important cause at www.davericefoundation.org.
