2011 marks the year when electronic dance music truly impacted Las Vegas, from all-star DJs packing nightclubs such as TAO, LAVO and Marquee to the incredible Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) making its debut in the city. Now Insomniac, the creators of EDC, and TAO have teamed up to end the year with a party on December 29 celebrating the halfway point to the 2012 Electronic Daisy Carnival, which will return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on June 8 – 10, 2012.
This special edition of TAO’s Worship Thursday presented by Insomniac will be headlined by Grammy Award-winning artist, remixer and producer Benny Benassi. The superstar DJ recently released his third full-length solo album, ‘Electroman,’ which embraces a myriad of styles including electro, house, pop, R&B and hip-hop (with help from guests including T-Pain, Pitbull, Chris Brown, Kelis, Gary Go, apl.de.ap of The Black Eyed Peas, Ying Yang Twins and more).
Insomniac’s Halfway to EDC party at TAO will take club goers back to this summer’s smash Electric Daisy Carnival and get them excited for the 2012 edition taking place next June.
Doors open at 10 pm. Cover charges are: gentlemen $20, ladies $10 and complimentary entry for Las Vegas locals. Click to buy tickets.
