Golden Nugget & Gordie Brown Offer Special Tickets for Veterans

September 2, 2011 by

Gordie BrownGolden Nugget Las Vegas headliner, Gordie Brown, will honor current and retired service members surrounding our National Day of Service and Remembrance with a special local ticket price, a portion of which will be donated to U.S.VETS – Las Vegas, an organization dedicated to providing veterans with comprehensive housing and employment services in the Las Vegas Valley.

September 9 and 10, Brown will welcome current and former service members at the show and the Golden Nugget will offer Las Vegas locals an incredible deal with $20.45 (inclusive) tickets dedicating a portion of that price to U.S.VETS – Las Vegas.

“On this special weekend, I’m very pleased to have the opportunity to honor the men and women of the armed services,” said Brown. “I’m looking forward to entertaining them and excited that we’re able to give back to an organization like U.S.VETS – Las Vegas.”

With his show, Gordie Brown Live, Brown has entertained thousands of people during his time at the Golden Nugget. He began performances in the “Gordie Brown Showroom,” the state-of-the-art room built just for him, in 2010 after touring with Celine Dion on her North American tour in 2008 and 2009.

“We’re delighted to support U.S.VETS – Las Vegas at the Golden Nugget,” said Tiffany Hauck, public relations manager for the hotel-casino. “We are thrilled to offer the opportunity for Las Vegas locals to take advantage of an affordable ticket, while at the same time helping to make a difference in the lives of local veterans.”

Backed by his sizzling five-piece band, Gordie Brown Live is a breathless combination of comedy, music, impressions and parody. His spontaneity and improvisational skills create an ever evolving experience where guests never get the same show twice. He is well known for his amazing comedic timing and vast repertoire of celebrity impressions such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Nicholson and Sylvester Stallone, as well as Las Vegas icons like Elvis Presley and Sammy Davis, Jr. Brown has consistently received rave reviews by both critics and audiences alike, and has been recognized as Entertainer of the Year and Best Show.

Brown performs Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. Regular ticket prices are tiered and range from $25.00, plus tax and fee, with a special show and buffet package for $34.99 per person plus tax and fee. Additional pricing tiers are VIP (first 4 rows) – $65.00; Premium Reserved – $50.00 or $59.99 for show and buffet package; and General Reserved – $30.00. 10% LET tax and $3.95 service fee will be added to all tiers.
