“Name That Tune,” one of America’s most beloved game shows of all time, makes its live debut at Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, beginning Thursday, August 18. An up-to-date, fast-paced version of the iconic daytime game show, Name That Tune Live! will give 100 participants per show the chance to win thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.

With a live DJ, a musical catalog ranging from country to rock n’ roll to Broadway show tunes to Lady Gaga and an amazing set by Emmy Award-winning designer Andy Walmsley, (“American Idol,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” and “The Sing Off,” among others), Name That Tune Live! will be an interactive experience unlike any other and one of the best entertainment values on the famed Las Vegas Strip.

“Of the many great shows we’ve produced in Las Vegas over the years, the interactive nature and iconic musical history Name That Tune Live! brings to the Las Vegas Strip have me particularly excited,” said Adam Steck, founder and CEO of SPI Entertainment. “It will help fill a void in the Las Vegas entertainment scene, providing musical fun with a very affordable price.”

Talented duo and Las Vegas favorites, Chris Phillips and Marley Taylor of Zowie Bowie, will guide the contestants along a musical escapade, including many of the famous games and several new twists to the old format. Since moving to Las Vegas from Arizona in 2006, Zowie Bowie has established itself as one of the city’s favorite bands. Their unbridled energy and high-voltage band creates a sizzling and sexy sound, that has become a Las Vegas mainstay.

“Imperial Palace offers some of the best entertainment options Las Vegas has to offer and Name That Tune Live! is no different,” said Rick Mazer, President of Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino. “The television game show has been an American icon for almost 60 years and I know that the stage version will offer our guests a fun, interactive and memorable experience.”

“‘Name That Tune’ is a brand most people know and love,” said Noah Rubenstein, Prestige Entertainment Group LLC. “With the proliferation of music today, we are excited to be bringing Name That Tune Live! to Las Vegas. It’s a game many people grew up watching, and for those who are new to it, it is easy to play. It’s in the name.”
