About the Vegas Cine Fest
Vegas Cine Fest was founded in 2009 by Executive Director Philip Marcus and President Maria Bautista Marcus. Vegas Cine Fest is a non-profit organization which has been developing a reputation as one of the few film festival contests that provide the assistance needed to produce the projects of writers and filmmakers. Vegas Cine Fest shares the visions and experiences of a select group of producers, directors and writers that have spent years in the trenches of story development and production earning high acclaim and developing a keen ability for filmmaking. Serving on the Advisory Board is Producer Michel Shane (Catch Me If You Can, I-Robot), Paris-based Writer/Director Edouard Molinaro (Oscar Nominated for La Cage Aux Folles), Producer Marvin Lipschultz (Jan & Dean China Tour and “Glitz” at the Copacabana Room in the Sands Hotel), Noah Hutton (Director, More to Live For, Crude Independence) and Sita Kaulesar Sukul (Former COO of Seattle International Film Festival).
The Vegas Cine Fest, a non-profit organization, bridges the gap between Indie Filmmakers and Major Studios. The Festival Advisory Board includes members from the US, Canada, UK, and France. More than just a Film Festival, the Vegas Cine Fest is an event showcasing top production vendors of the film industry.
