The United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council will host its 3rd annual Women’s Leadership Luncheon at Caesars Palace on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. and welcomes keynote speaker Maureen E. Peckman, chief emerging business officer for Cleveland Clinic Nevada.
The exclusive event also honors three outstanding women leaders in United Way’s focus areas of education, health and financial stability.
Punam Mathur, vice president of people resources for NV Energy and Calvert Collins, 8 News NOW reporter, will co-emcee during the luncheon.

Tickets for the luncheon are $80 per person or $800 per table of 10 and all proceeds will benefit United Way of Southern Nevada. The Women’s Leadership Council, co-chaired by Judy Kropid and Robbie Graham, brings local female leaders to the front line to address the community’s most pressing needs. Members of the Women’s Leadership Council commit an annual, individual investment of $2,500 or more to United Way of Southern Nevada, and enjoy benefits such as participation in meaningful leadership and educational activities, hands-on volunteer involvement, executive level networking opportunities and visible recognition as a woman leader and philanthropist. Since its inception in 2007, the Women’s Leadership Council membership has rapidly grown to 136 members.
