In honor of the Sahara’s out­stand­ing par­tic­i­pa­tion in the Miller High Life Mil­i­tary Pro­gram, a cel­e­bra­tion hosted by the High Life deliv­ery guy, Windell Middlebrooks, was held on Thurs­day Octo­ber 28, 2010 at the NASCAR Café (Pictured above: High Life delivery guy Windell Middlebrooks with cast of Striptease The Show)

The event fea­tured a per­for­mance by the Sexy cast of Striptease The Show and the tal­ented per­form­ers of Recy­cled Percussion. An over­whelm­ing 305,000 caps and tabs were col­lected in just three months, with a total weight of 1,480 pounds, as part of Miller High Life’s Mil­i­tary Pro­gram – a part­ner­ship ben­e­fit­ing the Iraq and Afghanistan Vet­er­ans of Amer­ica (IAVA) with up to $1 mil­lion in cash.

The Sahara was the largest sin­gle con­trib­u­tor of caps and can tabs in the United States.
