September 28, 2010 by

KVGQ 106.9 “The Q” offers a great fit for those radio listeners in Las Vegas looking for a new favorite station to replace the former Jack FM. 106.9.  “The Q” broadcasts the best adult hits of the ’70s, ’80s and beyond, with music from multiple genres, sure to please even the most discerning Adult Hits listener.

The recently launched station has a playlist of more than 1,000 songs, including artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Tom Petty, Duran Duran, Fleetwood Mac, Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Rod Stewart and even Blondie, creating a fresh, new sound each time listeners tune in.

“106.9 ‘The Q’ provides a unique listening experience with extensive music sweeps each hour – at least 55 minutes of music hourly. The beauty of this format is that there’s something for everyone, said Marty Basch, vice president and general manager of Kemp Broadcasting in Las Vegas. “106.9 ‘The Q’ is a great station to get you through a busy work week and right into weekend fun.”

KVGQ 106.9 “The Q” has been broadcasting the Adults Hits format since the beginning of 2010, with a formal launch coming in October. The station can be heard at 106.9 FM and streamed online at www.1069theq.com.
