Improvisational Genius Wayne Brady to Perform at The Chi Showroom at Planet Hollywood

September 16, 2010 by

Las Vegas audiences can’t get enough of Wayne Brady. BASE Entertainment has announced four performance dates for Brady’s hit show, Making It Up, at The CHI Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Heralded as “pure genius,” “hysterically funny” and “amazing,” Brady’s show is a guaranteed hit. Making It Up can be seen October 1 & 2 and 8 & 9. All performances begin at 8:30 p.m.

“Las Vegas audiences have been amazing to me over the past three years and I am thrilled to take my show to Planet Hollywood. I love giving audiences a show unlike any other on The Strip,” says Brady. “No two shows are ever the same – my partner Jonathan and I stage a new form of old school showbiz and make each show a one-of-a kind experience.”

“Wayne’s talent and vision for Making It Up have proven to be a huge success,” says Scott Zeiger, co-CEO of BASE Entertainment and presenter of Making It Up. “He continues to surprise audiences with his showmanship and we’re happy to announce his new dates at Planet Hollywood. He is a multifaceted and extremely talented entertainer, a perfect fit for Las Vegas.”

Since he started performing Making It Up in April 2007, Brady has lived up to its title. Not only does he create a different show each night with improv partner Jonathan Mangum, he is also constantly adding new elements to the line-up, making each show an original.

Brady is well-known for his hilarious improvised antics, unique musical talents and limitless impersonation skills as showcased on the hit show “Whose Line is it Anyway?” and the syndicated talk show “The Wayne Brady Show.” In addition to Making It Up, Brady can also be seen as the quick-witted host of the returning hit game show “Let’s Make A Deal” on CBS.

All performances begin at 8:30 p.m. in The CHI Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Tickets are $55, $70 and $85 plus tax. A limited number of VIP Packages, which include VIP seats and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Brady after the show, are available for $145 per person plus tax. Tickets for all shows can be purchased at the Showroom or Theatre for the Performing Arts Box Offices at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at, or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
