February Entertainment Lineup Rocks the House at Station Casinos

Station Casinos continues to entertain locals with a number of new weekly acts and shows at several of its properties in addition to its trademark bands that the city has grown to love.

New shows include Spazmatics, performing ’80s-pop favorites to a geeky groove at Boulder Station and Yellow Brick Road (YBR) every Friday night and Steel Panther every Saturday night at Aliante Station. Alter Ego will rock out Boulder Station on Feb. 21 and Dr. Zhivegas will take over Green Valley Ranch on Feb. 28. Noches Latinas takes over Fiesta Rancho every Friday at 10 p.m. bringing dirty dancing to life with the best in salsa and meringue. Most shows are free or will be noted below if they have a minimal cover charge. Coming this month are:

Green Valley Ranch

Every Sunday:

  • Ovation – Zowie Bowie harkens the days of the Rat Pack with its new Sinatra inspired show from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Every Tuesday

  • Quinn’s Irish Pub – Trivia night from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Michael Grimm on piano from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Every Wednesday:

  • Ovation – Yellow Brick Road (YBR), the Las Vegas-based classic rock tribute band, takes the stage at 9 p.m. Unlike most tribute bands that generally pay homage to one artist only, YBR takes on the entire classic rock/pop spectrum. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Michael Grimm on piano from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Every Thursday:

  • Ovation – Heavy Petting Zoo from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. performing hits from the ’80s, ’90s and today. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Michael Grimm on piano from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Peter Love will be performing for Michael Grimm on Feb. 5.

Every Friday:

  • Ovation – The Michael Grimm Band from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Grimm performs his personal blend of music where a country boy melds soul and rock accompanied by his 12-piece band.
  • Ovation – Steel Panther from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., this ’80s glam metal parody band demonstrates their spirit and love of everything rock ‘n’ roll with their colorful repartee, loud costumes and graphic body language. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Quinn’s Irish Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the stage from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love on piano from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.

Every Saturday:

  • Ovation – The Michael Grimm Band from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Grimm performs his personal blend of music where a country boy melds soul and rock accompanied by his 12-piece band. The band will not perform on Feb. 28.
  • Ovation – On Feb. 28, Dr. Zhivegas performs in place of The Michael Grimm Band for this one-night only spectacular. This high-energy, two-hour dance explosion recreates the classic hits of disco, funk, soul and R&B. Leading up to the show and between sets, DJ Dynamixx spins crowd pleasing beats through 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Ovation –Sin City Sinners perform from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. This Las Vegas-based band, known for its original tracks and hard rock covers, has been known to include celebrity guest performances, such as George Lynch of Dokken and Lynch Mob, and Bruce Kulick of KISS, among several others. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Quinn’s Irish Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the stage from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love on piano from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.

 

Santa Fe Station

Sunday, Feb. 1:

  • Chrome Showroom – Big Game football viewing party with doors open at 1 p.m. Booths are available for purchase at $60 per person with a minimum of four people and no more than six people and includes all-you-can-eat food plus two buckets of 16-ounce Bud Lights. Every Friday:

  • Chrome Showroom – Rock Tribute Series featuring tribute bands of famed rock artists on a rotating schedule with doors at 9 p.m. The February schedule features:, Freebird tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd on Feb. 6, TNT tribute to AC/DC on Feb. 13, Hollywood Stones tribute to the Rolling Stones on Feb. 20 with doors open at 10 p.m. and Hangar 18 tribute to Megadeth on Feb. 27. This show is 21 years and older.
  • 4949 Lounge – Enjoy the sweet taste of hookah by Vegas Hookah from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Every Saturday:

  • Chrome Showroom – Doors open at 10:30 p.m. for Purple Reign, the hottest Prince tribute show in town. This show is 21 years and older and has a $5 cover charge.
  • 4949 Lounge – Enjoy the sweet taste of hookah by Vegas Hookah from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. featuring D.J. Toast and Angry Cupid on Feb.14 and D.J. Jace on Feb. 28.

 

Red Rock Resort

Every Sunday:

  • Rocks Lounge – Big Game viewing from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Feb. 1.
  • Lucky Bar – DJ Creative spins music from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Every Thursday:

  • Lucky Bar – DJ Creative spins music from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Rocks Lounge – On Feb. 5, ENVY band takes over with doors at 9 p.m., bringing the hottest contemporary hits and Hip Hop to the stage. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Every Friday:

  • A-Bar – Darrin Michaels plays jazz from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • South Padre – Texas Blues Series from 9 p.m. to midnight featuring some of the country’s best blues musicians on a rotating schedule. The February schedule features: Roy Rogers on Feb. 6, Tommy Castro on Feb. 13, Guitar Shorty on Feb. 20 and Coco Montoya on Feb. 27. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Every Saturday:

  • A-Bar – Darrin Michaels plays jazz from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • South Padre – The Boogie Knights gets patrons to “shake your groove thing” with doors at 9 p.m. Leading up to the show and between sets, DJ Dynamixx spins crowd pleasing beats through 1 a.m. This show is 21 years and older and has a $5 cover charge.

 

Boulder Station

Every Sunday:

  • The Railhead – Latin Night with Noche Nortena featuring Banda Tierra Sagrada, delivering the best in regional Mexican music with doors at 8:30 p.m. The music flows leading up to the show and between sets with a DJ spinning the best Latin tunes until 2 a.m. This show is 21 years and older and has a $5 cover charge.

Every Thursday:

  • The Railhead – Jerry Tiffe brings back the days of swing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., bringing folks out of their seats and onto the dance floor.
  • The Railhead – Boulder Blues from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. featuring some of the country’s best blues musicians on a rotating schedule. The February schedule features: Roy Rogers on Feb. 5, Tommy Castro on Feb. 12, Guitar Shorty on Feb. 19 and Coco Montoya on Feb. 26. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Kixx Bar – More & Gendel perform from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., bringing the best in vocal and guitar stylings. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Every Friday:

  • The Railhead – Spazmatics lends its geeky charm to the ultimate ’80s experience from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Kixx Bar – Shooting Stars Karaoke is held from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. where guests rule the stage. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Every Saturday:

  • The Railhead – Yellow Brick Road (YBR) performs from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. This Las Vegas-based classic rock tribute band takes on the entire classic rock/pop spectrum with an emphasis on details and inflections. This show is 21 years and older.
  • The Railhead – On Feb. 21, Alter Ego performs a one-night only free show of classic rock hits from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Kixx Bar – Van De Guzman plays the best hits of yesterday and today from 7 p.m. to midnight with uncanny vocals and keyboard skills. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Saturday, Feb. 21:

  • The Railhead: Alter Ego rocks the stage from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Aliante Station

Every Wednesday:

  • Access Showroom – Jerry Tiffe brings back the days of swing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., bringing folks out of their seats and onto the dance floor. This show is free for those with a Boarding Pass.

Every Friday:

  • Access Showroom – Yellow Brick Road (YBR) performs from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. This Las Vegas-based classic rock tribute band takes on the entire classic rock/pop spectrum with an emphasis on details and inflections. This show is 21 years and older.
  • ETA Lounge – A live DJ spins music from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Every Saturday:

  • Bonkerz Comedy Club showroom – Celebrated hilarity fills the room at 8 p.m. with artists on a rotating schedule. The February schedule features: Grandma Lee, winner of the U.S. World Showcase comedy division at the MGM Grand in 2003, bringing her sassy views of family, TV and life to the stage on Feb. 5; Mike Allen passes on his jack-of-all trades wisdom to the comedy forum on Feb. 12; James Yon performs his uproarious show on Feb.19; and Mike McCarthy, also known as “the Comedy Barbarian,” delivers his high-energy adult humor on Feb. 26. Guests must be 21 years and older and tickets are $29.95 plus tax and applicable fees. Locals and Station Casinos guests receive a $10 discount.
  • Jack’s Pub – Asian Karaoke from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. where the guests dominate the stage. Guests must be 21 years and older.

  • Cabo Lounge – Wild Cabo Nights from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. with artists on a rotating schedule. The February schedule features: Evenflow on Feb. 6, Feb. 13 and Feb. 27, and Randy Anderson on Feb. 20. Guests must be 21 years and older.
  • Club Tequila – Noches Latinas take over Club Tequila beginning Feb. 13, featuring Resident DJ Netto spinning the best in salsa and meringue. Each week with feature a special guest DJ. On Feb. 6, Fiesta Salsero performs a variety of Latin Music. Doors open at 10 p.m. and this show is 21 years and older and has a $5 cover charge; ladies get in free from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Every Saturday:
