Stay Up Late with 'Insomniac' Dave Attell at Treasure Island Theatre June 11Comedy Central’s favorite up-front, man-on-the-street comedian Dave Attell returns to Las Vegas to perform at Treasure Island’s Mystère Theatre Friday, June 11, at 9 p.m.  Guests must be 18 years or older to attend.

Named one of the “25 Funniest People in America” by Entertainment Weekly, Dave Attell got his start in comedy performing the open-mic circuit in Manhattan’s comedy clubs after graduating from New York University with a degree in Film and Television. After working his way up, he took his show on the road where he developed a huge fan following as a national headliner.

He is probably best-known for hosting the hit series, “Insomniac with Dave Attell” on Comedy Central, which aired from 2001-2004. The show followed Attell as he explored a city after performing at a comedy club. Attell would visit various bars, landmarks and clubs, cracking jokes with passersby and taking pictures with a disposable camera.

While “Insomniac” was filmed primarily in the U.S., Attell also taped several hour-long specials overseas in Japan, Germany, England and Brazil. Upon returning to the U.S., he headed out on a 35-city theatre tour ending in Las Vegas, where he hosted a two-hour special for Comedy Central featuring comedians Sean Rouse, Greg Geraldo and Dane Cook.

Dave Attell has made numerous appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “The Howard Stern Show,” “Later with Carson Daly” and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” He also appeared in Chris Rock’s cult film “Pootie Tang.” Other television credits include FOX’s “Arrested Development,” NBC’s “Ed,” Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” and his own half-hour stand-up special, “Comedy Central Presents Dave Attell.” In addition, he continues to make regular appearances at the Comedy Cellar in New York City.

Tickets are now available starting at $35, with premium seating available for $49, plus tax and handling fees. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 866-712-9308, or 702-894-7722. Purchases can also be made online at
