Ambhar Tequila Wins Distinguished Taste and Design Awards in Spirit Competition

Ambhar Tequila’s outstanding reputation for authentic flavor continues to dominate the industry as the tequila takes home awards from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the Ultimate Beverage Challenge, the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America Tasting Competition and Graphic Design USA 2010 American Package Design Awards. Ambhar Tequila is the only five-time distilled, 100 percent blue agave tequila on the market.

San Francisco World Spirits Competition –
All three Ambhar Tequila variations were award-winners at the 10th annual competition in March. The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is the most influential and respected spirits competition in the world. 30 judges gathered at the Hotel Nikko in downtown San Francisco to reward spirits excellence by evaluating 1024 different spirits from 57 countries. Judging was based on a blind taste test, ensuring competitive integrity.
Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) Tasting Competition – In the recent tasting competition, Ambhar Tequila took home top medals in the spirit category. Sponsored by The Tasting Panel Magazine, the 2009 competition drew nearly 300 entrants in the spirits and wine categories, enticing even more to submit applications for the competition this year.
Ultimate Beverage Challenge (UBC) –  Ambhar Tequila received several awards from this impressive face off with the spirit industry elite. During the challenge, which took place in March, individual spirits were evaluated to see how they compared to others in their specific category. Judging panels were headed by internationally renowned beverage alcohol expert, F. Paul Pacult. UBC has a multi-level evaluation to ensure fair and unbiased results to produce the most authoritative results possible.  
Graphic Design USA 2010 American Package Design Awards –Ambhar Tequila’s iconic hand-made decanter was an award winner in the food and beverage category of this year’s competition. The American Package Design Awards is the fastest growing of Graphic Design USA’s national competitions, with some of the biggest names in health and beauty, food and beverage, stores and retail represented. This competition celebrates well-designed graphics and the power of design to advance the brand.
Ambhar tequilas are ultra smooth, flavorful tequilas, available in three variations, for those who recognize and savor perfection. Ambhar Platinum is allowed to mellow in stainless steel tanks to produce a floral nose, lively citrus notes and a smooth finish. Ambhar Repasodo is rested in oak barrels up to 364 days to impart the color of straw and a remarkable taste and smoothness. Ambhar Añejo is aged in oak bourbon barrels for two years to draw out a subtle flavor followed by a delectable sweetness.
