The National Hockey League announced today, January 13, that forward Mark Stone and defenseman Alex Pietrangelo have been selected to the Pacific Division roster for the 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend, which will be held February 4-5 at T-Mobile Arena in Vegas. Stone and Pietrangelo join head coach Pete DeBoer as representatives from the Vegas Golden Knights.

Vegas forward Jonathan Marchessault was named one of the NHL’s candidates for the “Last Men In” vote. Fans can vote for Marchessault from January 13-17 at NHL.com/lastmenin.

It is the first time in his career that Stone has been named to the NHL All-Star Game. This season, the forward has collected 25 points (7 G, 18 A) in 22 contests. Stone’s 36 takeaways are tied for the most among all forwards in the NHL. From November 24 to December 14, Stone recorded a nine-game assist streak, the longest by any skater in franchise history.

Pietrangelo is selected to the All-Star Game for the third time in his NHL career (2018, 2020, 2022). The defenseman leads the NHL with 52 takeaways and ranks sixth with 80 blocked shots. Pietrangelo’s 24 points (6 G, 18 A) rank second among Vegas defensemen.

The 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend at T-Mobile Arena will include the 2022 NHL All-Star Skills presented by DraftKings Sportsbook on Friday, February 4 and the 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Game on Saturday, February 5. This will be the first time the Golden Knights will host the NHL’s All-Star activities.
