Las Vegas Book Festival to Return to Las Vegas, Oct. 23

The Event Is Free And Open To The Public From 9 A.M. To 6 P.M. In Downtown Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Book Festival returns to the Historic Fifth Street School, 401 S. Fourth St., Saturday, Oct. 23, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free and open to all ages. View the full schedule at www.lasvegasbookfestival.com.

The 20th annual festival on Saturday will feature programming for all ages, including headliners Fran Lebowitz, Dr. Oriel María Siu and Sandra Cisneros. Dozens of additional authors will participate in readings, workshops and panel discussions. In addition to its literary offerings, the festival will feature children’s activities, cooking demonstrations, musical performances,  artisan vendors, food trucks, a juice box bar, a beer and wine garden and more. 

The 2021 festival is sponsored by Las Vegas Review-Journal/Las Vegas Sun, 98.5 KLUC, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, Las Vegas Clark County Library District, NEA Big Read, a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest, and is produced by Nevada Humanities and the city of Las Vegas.
