Nevada Gaming Control Board approves Circa’s fifth location in Southern Nevada
Today, Circa Sports – the popular sports betting venture from CEO and downtown Las Vegas casino operator Derek Stevens – was approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board to open a new sportsbook at The Pass Casino in Henderson, Nev.
Media are invited to cover its debut at a ribbon-cutting ceremony April 29 with Stevens, The Pass’ Owner Joe DeSimoe, Henderson Mayor Debra March and several City of Henderson officials.
Launched in 2019, Circa Sports is operated by a team of the country’s top betting experts. Since launching, the brand has rapidly expanded its reach, including the fall launch of the world’s largest sportsbook at Circa Resort & Casino, while gaining notoriety for offering the country’s best odds and competitive wagering options.
Circa Sports operates at several additional locations including Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and the D Las Vegas. In July 2020, Circa Sports continued to grow with the introduction of the Circa Sports mobile app in Colorado, which will soon be accompanied by a launch in the state of Iowa. The Pass’ opening marks Circa Sports’ fifth book in Southern Nevada and follows the March 2021 debut of a location at Tuscany Suites & Casino, the brand’s first Las Vegas expansion outside of Stevens’ portfolio of properties.
The new Circa Sports location will be one of the many updated offerings at The Pass, which reopened at the former site of the Eldorado Casino on April 1. In addition to the new sportsbook, guests can now enjoy more than 350 slot machines; 24-hour dining options at Emilia’s Café; fine dining at Ristorante Italiano; and two high-energy bars: The Pass Bar and Silver Bar.
