Game Night – Golden Knights v Blues

The Las Vegas Golden Knights return home to play the St. Louis Blues for the first time this season, Tuesday evening.

Both teams are set to play each other at the T-Mobile Arena as part of a two-game set today and Thursday, 6 PM PT.

Today’s game will also be the first in which Golden Knights defenseman and alternate captain Alex Pietrangelo will play against his former team.

Pietrangelo played his first 12 NHL seasons with the Blues and was also the team’s captain for his last four seasons with the team.

The former Blues player joined the Knights the off-season last year after signing a seven-year, $61.7 million contract as a free agent.

The Golden Knights are currently 5-1-0 and remain undefeated at home. The team also leads the West Division and is tied for the overall lead in the NHL.

The Blues–who are 3-2-1 and lost their most recent game, 6-3 to the Los Angelas Kings–won the 2020 Western Conference during the regular season and won the Stanley Cup in 2019.

The Blues lost to the Golden Knights 6-5 and 5-4 during their previous T-Mobile Arena matchups last year.
