While under construction, luxury apartment complex Elysian at The Palms has gone “pink” in support of the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink Las Vegas campaign.
Guy Martin, president of Martin-Harris Construction, joined the campaign in August with the idea to take the company’s people, projects and pickup trucks “pink” with a goal of raising $15,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Doug Eisner and Eric Cohen, co-owners for Elysian at The Palms and managing partners of The Calida Group, along with Spectrum Construction joined the effort by painting a portion of the parking garage pink along with the signature #IGotPinked hashtag associated with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Located just east of Palms Casino Resort, the garage is visible to vehicle and pedestrian traffic traveling either direction along Flamingo Road.
“Elysian Living properties are committed to aligning with philanthropic organizations and businesses,” said Eisner. “This is a cause that we support wholeheartedly and are proud to say we got pinked.”
Guy Martin, president of Martin-Harris Construction, expressed his gratitude to Elysian Living, The Calida Group and Spectrum Construction for helping the effort to assist the American Cancer Society’s mission to support patients, fund and conduct research, and spread awareness about prevention in the fight against breast cancer.
