Award-winning celebrity hairstylist Claude Baruk debuted his new salon, Signature Salon by Claude Baruk, at Fashion Show Las Vegas. To celebrate the grand opening, Baruk will offer two days of complimentary services to local healthcare professionals on Monday, Oct. 19 and Tuesday, Oct. 20.
“I am thrilled to introduce Signature Salon by Claude Baruk and make high-end, celebrity styles more approachable to clientele who live in and are visiting Las Vegas,” said Baruk, who came to Las Vegas from his native France, where he was a hairstylist in luxurious French destinations including St Tropez and Courchevel for more than a decade.
Signature Salon by Claude Baruk will offer a luxurious, stylish retreat with 18 hairstyling stations, an extensive services menu, membership programs and more. Led by Baruk and his team of expert stylists, the salon will offer women’s and men’s cuts, colors, styles, and special services including Baruk’s signature balayage color treatment using the patented “Baruk Five-Step System;” a “hair spa” treatment featuring a Kérastase caviar treatment; Great Lengths cold fuse extensions; Hotheads tape-in extensions and first-to-market steam pod service. Areas dedicated to nail care and a barber shop for men are slated to open later.
Baruk, who is world-renowned for his technique and upscale clientele, was honored as “Celebrity Hairstylist of the Year” at the 2018 Hollywood Beauty Awards. The celebrity-stylist has spent decades styling in international destinations including Courchevel, London, St. Tropez, New York and Paris, where he has established himself as a key member in the French salon industry and has earned several national awards for hair styling. In 2012, Baruk was designated an ID Artist for L’Oréal Professional France.
Baruk has styled countless celebrities including Karl Lagerfeld, Paris Hilton, Ivanka Trump, Russell Wilson and John Travolta; world famous DJ’s, including The Chainsmokers, David Guetta and Diplo; influencers including Lele Pons, Gemma lee Farrell, Hanna Stocking and Charlotte McKinley; actresses such as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Ruby Rose; and top models including Naomi Campbell, Anna Maria Olbrycht and Maria Olbrych, plus more.
In addition to celebrities, Baruk has styled royalty and jet setters, as well as for major fashion shoots, runway shows and L’Oréal Professional. Since 2018, Claude has launched a successful pop-up salon in Los Angeles at the glamourous Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills and styled for the Oscars, Golden Globes and Grammy Awards.
Social distancing guidelines as well as additional health and safety protocols are in place at Signature Salon by Claude Baruk through recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Temperature checks will be conducted daily for both employees and clients. Additional measures include socially distanced styling stations, enhanced sanitizing of high contact areas and required masks for both clients and employees.
