Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding Live Performance on Zoom, Oct. 8; Ticket Proceeds Help TCS Entertainment Community Fund

What happens during COVID to a couple that wants to get married, but are quarantined? They get hitched on Zoom with all of their family safe and socially distanced, and that is exactly what Tony and Tina are planning!

“Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding,” the long running Las Vegas interactive dinner show at The Rio Hotel and Casino, Planet Hollywood, Bally’s Hotel and Buca di Beppo, will perform a virtual benefit performance on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. on Zoom.

Proceeds will help benefit The Composers Showcase TCS Entertainment Community Relief Fund supporting members of the local entertainment community who have been adversely affected financially by COVID.  This virtual performance was adapted by the original director, Larry Pellegrini with a cast of Las Vegas actors and musicians.

“We’re dedicated to continuing to help our entertainment community through this dark and uncertain time” says Keith Thompson, founder and director of nonprofit The Composers Showcase.  “We intend to be there to help until live entertainment can be brought back to ‘The Entertainment Capital of the World!’  Too, we’re thrilled to have Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding joining us in supporting this critical endeavor.”

Tickets are now on sale for $15 per device, available online at bit.ly/2ZYandB

VIP perks include guaranteed interaction in the wedding, a post-show virtual meet-and-greet, and selected show merchandise. Requests for VIP status should be submitted to [email protected], subject: Tony and Tina VIP.

Thompson established the TCS Entertainment Community Relief Fund when the pandemic hit hard in March.  To date, $60,000 has been raised and 100 local entertainers, musicians and artists who applied for assistance have received financial aid from TCS.

The entertainment community is in tremendous need.  Since the Las Vegas Strip went dark in mid-March, hundreds of Las Vegas entertainers have been forced off the stage, their careers sidelined, and livelihoods destroyed.

To help out-of-work entertainers and musicians who are in need of financial assistance during this difficult time, The Composers Showcase has expanded its mission to include offering financial assistance and give back to the community that has kept TCS going for the last 14 years.
