Chef Brian Howard and co-owner John Anthony have announced reopening plans for acclaimed Las Vegas neighborhood restaurant Sparrow + Wolf. The Chinatown hot spot will open its doors again on June 1, with a sold-out Third Anniversary event set for June 5.
The restaurant will observe an extensive list of new safety protocols, meeting and exceeding those mandated by the State of Nevada, while ensuring they still meet the high level of hospitality for which they are known.
June 1 will also see the debut of a new menu at Sparrow + Wolf, combining many favorites of the past such as the Chinatown Clams Casino, Charred Romanesco and Hearth Baked Lamb Lasagna alongside new inspirations from the kitchen team such as Charred Broccoli with stewed lentils & urfa pepper; a Spanish Octopus Summer Roll; and a “Smash Bang” burger like you’ve never had before–with smoked cheese, scallion aioli and a Japanese vegetable fritter.
Mirroring the kitchen’s inspirations, bartender Alyssa Ocampo will again utilize many of the same ingredients to both match the food and support sustainability. Cold pressed juices will also be a highlight of the new bar program, emphasizing both a focus on fresh flavor and wellness properties. Ocampo notes her new recipes were largely influenced by those of early Prohibition era, a time when America was fighting off another pandemic.
“We are very excited to come back and serve the community, and really grateful for all of the support and anticipation while we were closed,” said Chef Howard. “We put a lot of work into making sure we could do this safely and still offer diners awesome hospitality and great food.”

June 1-6, 5-10 p.m. Closed June 7-8 then reopen June 9 for service seven days a week, 5-10 p.m, with plans to expand service later in the summer.
