The D Las Vegas Rings in the New Year Like No Other

The D’s 12th floor ballroom, adorned in classy red and gold details, was filled to the brim with hundreds of the D’s VIP guests. One of those guests included Horny Mike, star of History Channel’s hit reality show, Counting CarsIf there was a “best dressed” category, it’s fair to say Mike’s glittering gold mohawk alone was one of the biggest statement pieces.

The guests were shocked and pleasantly surprised to see Mike join in on their New Year’s Eve party, and snapped endless selfies all throughout the night.  They all enjoyed a buffet filled with top-notch entrees from the property’s award-winning Italian restaurant, Andiamo, as well as an open bar and live entertainment.

The D’s owner, Derek Stevens, welcomed the crowd and gave a toast moments before the entire ballroom participated in a live viewing of Times Square’s traditional ball drop.  Celebrating the east coast new year was just the beginning of the night’s entertainment, as 40,000 guests filled the Fremont Street Experience.
