The Vegas Golden Knights official Inaugural Season book will go on sale Friday, November 23 at The Armory at T-Mobile Arena, The Arsenal at City National Arena and online at www.vegasteamstore.com beginning at 8:00 a.m. PT.
The 144-page book contains a unique Augmented Reality component where the photos within the book come to life, enabling readers to relive some of the most memorable moments from the team’s historic and record-setting inaugural season. In order to activate the Augmented Reality Component, fans will be able to download the VGK Inaugural Season Book app from the App Store and Google Play.
The Inaugural Season book contains nearly 200 images – many which have never been published before – as well as essays from Chairman and CEO Bill Foley, President Kerry Bubolz, defenseman Deryk Engelland and Insider Gary Lawless. The text chronicles the infancy of the organization, when bringing NHL hockey to Las Vegas was merely an idea. It continues by documenting the official naming of the team, the building of the business staff, the Expansion Draft, the emotional home opener, the incredible support from the Las Vegas community through the unexpected and unprecedented run to the Stanley Cup Final.
“We have enjoyed so many unforgettable moments during our brief history and our Inaugural Season book looks to capture them all,” said Vegas Golden Knights Chairman and CEO Bill Foley. “We think this commemorative piece will be a tremendous keepsake for all Golden Knights fans. The innovative augmented reality component is truly unique and the photos and essays will bring you inside the inner-happenings of our organization.”
In addition to the Arsenal, Armory and vegasteamstore.com, fans can also purchase the book at a special pop-up location on November 23 and November 24 at Toshiba Plaza outside T-Mobile Arena. The book retails for $59.99 at all locations.
