Cantor Gaming Launches Mobile Gaming Throughout The Venetian and The Palazzo

Cantor Gaming, an affiliate of the global financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, announced today that the pocketcasino, only available on the Las Vegas Strip at The Venetian and The Palazzo, is now offering casino style games in addition to in-running sports wagering.  Pocketcasino gaming allows patrons the ability to play casino style games while roaming throughout the high limit slot salon, Grazie gold lounge, race & sports book, and designated public areas currently including  bars, lounges and restaurants at The Venetian and The Palazzo.

Cantor Gaming launched pocketcasino In-Running sports wagering in September at The Venetian Race and Sports Book and Lagasse’s Stadium at The Palazzo. Following the successful roll-out of Cantor’s In-Running product, pocketcasino now also hosts a variety of traditional casino games such as blackjack, video poker and slots. Included in the choice of casino games are innovative games, XtraOdds Blackjack and XtraOdds Baccarat. These games offer extra propositional bets that dynamically calculate odds based on the cards dealt, giving an extra opportunity to press or hedge your bets.

Lee Amaitis, president and CEO of Cantor Gaming said, “We are delighted to be expanding the reach and the content of pocketcasino at The Venetian and The Palazzo. The initial reaction to our In-Running sports wagering product has been incredibly positive, and the addition of casino-style games on the mobile device adds a further dimension for patrons. We’ve also invested significant time and resources in the development of original games. The inherent flexibility of the mobile platform provides a new type of social gaming experience, where a group of friends can sit together yet all be playing different games: blackjack, poker, slots or baccarat. And for casino operators, mobile gaming has shown it can convert traditionally non-gaming areas of the property into revenue-generating areas, resulting in incremental income for the property.”

Robert Goldstein, president and COO of The Venetian and The Palazzo, added, “For more than a decade, The Venetian and more recently The Palazzo, have been at the forefront of bringing new and innovative concepts to the Las Vegas Strip, such as all-suite rooms, celebrity chef restaurants, diverse entertainment offerings and more, and now our customers will have the unique opportunity to put cutting-edge technology to work in way that will bring their overall gaming experience to a whole new level.  Pocketcasino gaming is the perfect way to enjoy the excitement of casino without missing the fun your friends are having at the bar, lounge, or in one of our amazing restaurants.  It’s a multitasker’s dream come true.”
