Tickets are on sale now for Mexican pop diva Paulina Rubio in concert on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Star of the Desert Arena at Primm Valley Casino Resorts. Guests will enjoy Rubio’s Latin pop hits, including “Mi Nuevo Vicio” and “Desire (Me Tienes Loquita).”
Rubio began singing as a child, taking singing, dance and acting lessons at the Centro de Educación Artística (CEA) in Mexico when she was five years old. When she was 10 years old, she was recruited to join pop group Timbiriche, which launched her singing career. Rubio left the group in 1991 to release her debut solo album “La Chica Dorada” in 1992. The album reached the top 50 on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and second on the Billboard Latin Pop chart, while her first single “Mío” reached third on Billboard’s Hot Latin Tracks chart. In addition to having a successful career on the stage, Rubio has since gone on to star in movies and television shows, including being a judge on “The X Factor” and “La Voz Kids.”
“Paulina Rubio is an icon in the Latin American pop community,” said Shana Gerety, vice president of marketing at Primm Valley Casino Resorts. “Her music is filled with energy, and we can’t wait for her to perform at Primm.”
