Viva Las Vegas! Slater’s 50/50 Las Vegas introduces two new burgers inspired by the decadence and glitz and glamour of Sin City. The 24K Burger and The Whale Burger are available now (Pictured: 24K Burger).
“Las Vegas is iconic and so are our burgers,” said Cindy Sun, general manager of Slater’s 50/50 Las Vegas. “Locals and tourists expect over-the-top experiences in this city. From the Australian wagyu patties to poached lobster to the gold-dusted bacon and bun, these burgers fit the bill.”
The 24K Burger features a 24K gold-dusted brioche bun with three strips of 24K gold-dusted “billionaire’s” bacon, a half-pound of Australian wagyu beef, truffle cheese, baby arugula, bacon jam, roasted garlic aioli, and demi-glace. In keeping with the Las Vegas theme, Slater’s staff recommends pairing the 24K Burger with featured local brews, including CraftHaus Resinate, Lovelady Brewing Luv Juice or Tenaya Creek Hop Ride.
For those looking to double down on their burger experience, the Whale Burger features three ounces of poached lobster, one pound of Australian wagyu beef, three 24K gold dusted “billionaire’s” bacon strips, truffle cheese, baby arugula, bacon jam, roasted garlic aioli, and demi-glace, also between a 24K gold-dusted brioche bun. The Whale Burger is served with a 375 milliliter bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut Champagne.
The 24K Burger is available for $24 and the Whale Burger with Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label pairing is available for $100. Both burgers also come with a side of Slater’s fries or sweet potato fries.
