The first-ever United States of Miss America’s Miss Nevada and Miss California Pageants will take place at the Conference Center of Las Vegas on tonight (Sunday, July 29) with doors opening to the public at 5 p.m., a red carpet with the co-directors, emcees and judges at 5 p.m. and the pageant beginning at 6 p.m. (Pictured: Marissa Castillo).
Categories for both USOA’s Miss Nevada and Miss California include teen (ages 13-17), miss (ages 18-28), and Ms. (age 29 and older) Mrs. (18 years and married). Areas of competition include personal interview, swimwear, and evening gown. For the teen division, there will be personal interview, athletic wear and evening gown. Winners in all four categories can win up to a $5,000 cash prize (conditions apply); crowned queen’s entry to the national pageant (valued at $2,295); official local titleholder’s embroidered sash; official photo shoot; contestant swag bag; and more.*
All category winners for both Miss Nevada and Miss California contestants will be crowned by the end of the evening.
United States of America Pageants are designed to encourage women to strive and achieve their hopes, dreams, goals and aspirations while making them feel confident and beautiful inside and out. The organization truly believes the definition of beauty is the “unique set of combinations that make you, you.”
Co-directed by Marissa Castillo and Sadda Shaker, both with backgrounds in pageantry through competing and sponsoring contestants, United States of America’s Pageants aim to empower women and inspire others.
Tickets are priced at $75 per person and includes general admission into the pageant. VIP tickets are available for $100 per person and includes drink tickets as well as reserved seating. Tickets can be purchased under contestant names by visiting emmenessmedia.com/tickets-1.
