Award-winning grand illusionist David Goldrake is planning to open a new show, set to debut to Las Vegas audiences in Spring, 2019. Following his final performance at The Tropicana on September 30, 2018, David Goldrake will focus on producing and rehearsing for his new headlining magic production. He looks forward to announcing the details regarding his new project within the next few months.
Last month, David Goldrake, known as ‘The International Man of Mystery,’ celebrated the first anniversary of his Las Vegas residency at the Tropicana, where he has performed more than 300 shows. Recently, the magician welcomed a new performer to the show, Mariama, a contortionist and aerialist; and also introduced new choreography, stage lighting, and a new sideshow act.
In the past year, David Goldrake has achieved much success with Imaginarium, earning rave reviews from media and audiences alike, as well as the accolade of ‘Best Magic Show’ (Bronze) by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s ‘Best of Las Vegas’ awards. This year, David Goldrake has been honored with nominations in four ‘Best of Las Vegas’ categories, including ‘Magic Show,’ ‘Family Friendly Show,’ ‘Resident Performer/Headliner’ and ‘Best Value Show.’
David Goldrake says that he feels privileged to have made his Las Vegas debut at the Tropicana, where other magic stars such as Siegfried & Roy and Lance Burton started their careers. He is grateful to the Tropicana for having given him this unique opportunity.
David Goldrake performs Imaginarium Tuesday through Sunday at 7 p.m. with general admission ticket prices starting at $45.98 (excludes tax and fees). Tickets can be purchased at the Tropicana box office, by calling (800) 829-9034 or online at www.troplv.com and Ticketmaster.com. For more information visit www.DavidGoldrake.com.
