The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace Hosts First-Ever “Yoga for a Cure” Event in Support of Susan G. Komen Foundation June 2
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
and retailer lululemon are teaming up to present Yoga For A Cure, a fundraiser benefiting Susan G. Komen (SGK) Nevada. The first event of its kind at the premier retail center is set for Saturday, June 2 at 8:30 a.m. and will take place atop the Reflecting Pool and throughout the picturesque center, surrounded by the iconic spiral escalator and architectural beauty.

With 100% of the proceeds benefitting SGK, tickets for the fundraising event are $15 for General Admission and $40 for VIP Admission and are now available for purchase here. VIP participants will enjoy a premier position on the event stage floating atop The Reflecting Pool and within close-proximity to the yoga instructor and will receive a gift bag inclusive of a lululemon branded towel. General admission guarantees a position near or overlooking the Reflecting Pool and an event gift bag.

“The beauty of the center, particularly around the Reflecting Pool, really lends itself to awe-inspiring moments surrounded by architectural wonder – it’s perfect for stress-relieving yoga,” said Maureen Crampton, Director of Marketing and Business Development, The Forum Shops. “We are so excited to be able to partner with lululemon and SGK to create a first-of-its-kind event to raise money and awareness for a cause that impacts so many people.”   Led by instructor Paul Benedict who has explored and studied a variety of yoga practices and its underlying philosophy, participants will enjoy a 60-minute yoga session atop the Reflecting Pool and throughout the picturesque center, surrounded by the iconic spiral escalator and architectural beauty.

“We are overjoyed to team up once again with The Forum Shops and are thrilled with the generosity of lululemon,” said Chelsea Robinson, Executive Director of SGK Nevada. “Yoga For A Cure is a great way to enjoy the wellness benefits of yoga while benefitting the lifesaving and impactful work of Susan G. Komen.”

Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat. A limited supply of yoga mats will be available for use at the event. Complimentary parking at Caesars Palace main valet or self-parking garage on the morning of the event will be provided to the first 200 guests to check in. Guests must present parking ticket stub at event registration. Check-in and event registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

In addition to Yoga For A Cure, The Forum Shops is also continuing to offer Ducks For A Cure – pink ducks for “adoption” for $5 with ALL proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen.  Pink ducks can be purchased at either of the Forum Shops Guest Services Booths. Once adopted, visitors can personalize their new buoyant buddy with a message to a loved one and take the duck to the Fountain of The Gods located near the casino entrance and release it into the water.
