R&B Legends Dru Hill to Perform at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas June 22
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas
, in partnership with Neo Soul Vegas, has announced an ongoing concert series featuring the best talent in Neo soul and R&B. The first performances announced in the series are R&B Legends Dru Hill on Friday, June 22, at 7 p.m, and soulful crooner Lloyd on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 8 p.m.

American R&B group Dru Hill was formed in 1992 by high school friends Larry “Jazz” Anthony, Mark “Sisqó” Andrews, Tamir “Nokio” Ruffin, and James “Woody Rock” Green, and named in honor of their Baltimore neighborhood, Druid Hill Park. Dru Hill released their self-titled debut album in 1996, produced in part by R&B legend Keith Sweat. The single “Tell Me,” culled from the soundtrack to the film “Eddie,” became a top five R&B hit. Despite Sisqó’s solo success with “Thong Song,” the group continued intact, along with new member Rufus “Scola” Waller, and issued Dru World Order in 2002. The group is most well-known for their songs “Wild Wild West,” with Will Smith, “How Deep Is Your Love,” “Never Make a Promise,” and “In My Bed.”

New Orleans-born Lloyd Polite Jr., better known as Lloyd, is an American R&B singer-songwriter, dancer and actor. Lloyd began a solo career in 2003 after disbanding from preteen boy band N-Toon. He signed a recording contract with Murder Inc. Records shortly after, and released his solo debut single “Southside,” in 2004. The single, featuring Ashanti, quickly charted on the US Billboard Hot 100, and became a Top 40 hit. His second album Street Love, released in 2007, featured top-twenty hits “You” and “Get It Shawty.”

Lloyd is celebrated for his many hits throughout the years, including “Bed Rock,” “Lay It Down,” and “Dedication To My Ex.”

Entertainment company Neo Soul Vegas provides the music experience of Rhythm and Blues with the creativity and vibes of Jazz, infused with cultural excitement from signature events in the entertainment capital of the world.
