Imagined by Cirque du Soleil, One Night for One Drop is an extraordinary, one-night-only philanthropic event created to benefit safe water access programs around the world. This year’s production is inspired by the life of GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Jewel.
The production takes the audience through significant events and makes them relatable by constructing them around popular themes such as family, love, betrayal and the courage to forgive, all while featuring breathtaking performers from Cirque du Soleil and lightening it up with a variety of comedic elements. Proceeds from the event will benefit One Drop’s global water efforts, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Las Vegas community
- Friday, March 2, 2018 – 7:30 p.m.
- Michael Jackson ONE Theatre at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino
One Drop is an international foundation created in 2007 by Cirque du Soleil’s founder Guy Laliberté. At the core of our mission is access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene as a transformative force to improve the living conditions of some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. With the objective of delivering long-term impact and sustainability, we bring into all of our projects a unique Social Art for Behavior Change approach that aims at engaging communities in taking ownership and embracing adequate behaviors towards water, sanitation and hygiene. This year, One Drop is celebrating 10 years of bringing sustainable access to safe water to people around the world with projects in 11 countries that will reach over 1 million beneficiaries.
