In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Chapman Chrysler Jeep kicked off Cars for the Cure, a promotional campaign in October and, for every car sold during the four-day event, the longtime Las Vegas dealership donated $100 to Susan G. Komen Nevada.
The dealership surpassed its donation goal of $2,500, raising a total of $4,800. The check was presented to Susan G. Komen Nevada on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at its location at the Valley Automall in Henderson.
For general sales manager of Chapman Warm Springs Lawrence Ennis, breast cancer awareness is a personal cause. Ennis and his team members wear pink attire and pink ribbons all year long as a way to pay tribute to Ennis’ mother, who lost her battle with breast cancer, and to raise awareness about the importance of early detection.
