Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream has been extended for one year in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Sin City Theatre. The show, which debuted in 2016, is the first on the Las Vegas Strip to showcase the talents of a former Cirque du Soleil performer as the headliner.
The extravagant production showcases Mortimer’s talents and his illusions, defying simple explanation and transporting guests of all ages into a dream world. The 70-minute production is comprised of more than 14 acts and an unconventional cast of characters, including the wonder of Mary Poppins, the theatrics of Charlie Chaplin and the animation of Mickey Mouse.
After gracing stages in over 30 countries, Mortimer joined the cast of Cirque du Soleil’s acclaimed production, Michael Jackson One. Hailing from southwestern France, Mortimer studied at the Music and Dance Conservatory of La Rochelle, the Desmond Jones Acting School in London and the Jacques Lecoq Acting School in Paris. Mortimer’s quick ascension to worldwide fame was bolstered by a win at the Abano International Congress in Italy, a gold star honor at the L’Eau d’Olle Magic Festival in France and a fourth-place title in the hit television franchise, “France’s Got Talent.”
Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream is at 7 p.m. nightly, with tickets priced at $49 for general admission and $69 for VIP, excluding tax and box office fees.
