The specialty doughnut is a result of a contest, where Candlelighters children were invited to create a recipe for the featured doughnut. Eight children participated, but ultimately the doughnut created by eight-year-old Candlelighter Gavin Prince, along with his brother Brendan, age four, was selected as the winner.

The delectable doughnut is a delicious combination of chocolate frosting and yellow icing drizzle with pink and blue sprinkles so that both girls and boys can enjoy the doughnut.

Other events include a Welcome to Las Vegas Sign illumination event on Friday, Sept. 1, the Superhero 5K on Saturday, Sept. 9, and shopping promotions at Galleria Mall at Sunset and the Kendra Scott store at Fashion Show Mall.
