Local entertainer and philanthropist Mark Shunock opened Las Vegas’ premier arts complex The Space earlier this year to provide the theater community a versatile area to host a variety of events with star-studded performances and is home to the award-winning Mondays Dark, a special evening that highlights a local charity and raises money for their efforts.
Two new shows are now on sale including powerhouse singer Daniel Emmet in the main room on Sept. 17 and Dizzy with a Dame, an evening of cabaret-style burlesque in The Space’s ‘Back Room.’
This month, The Space welcomes a celebrated cast of performers including a special “Evening of Showcases” with The Phat Pack, Niki Scalera, Randal Keith, Kevin Patriquin, Rachel Tyler, Bruce Ewing and more as they offer a taste different shows that will be featured throughout the theater and concert season.
Also this month, Mondays Dark honors Junior Achievement, a non-profit educational organization that help students, grades K – 12, apply entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy concept and skills; and Spread the Word Nevada, a children’s literacy foundation dedicated to advancing early childhood literacy of children within Southern Nevada’s at-risk, low income communities.
Tickets for these, and other listed programs, are on sale now online at www.thespacelv.com or at The Space box office.
