First Friday’s theme for August 4th is “Hot August Nights” with Featured Artist Justin Lepper (pictured) and The Rock & Review Battle of the Bands Race for October. Key elements for this month include:
- First Friday’s Featured Artist – Justin Lepper, a local contemporary artist who paints, sculpts, designs, produces art shows and designs murals. He considers himself a “macro designer, creating intelligent space for a future filled with intelligent people.”
- Rock & Review, Race for October continues in July – each month from June to September, a winner will be chosen in this competition of local bands. In October – First Friday’s anniversary month – the four winners will go head-to-head and the ultimate winner will receive an exciting prize package.
The First Friday Foundation will post updates and special offers on scheduled First Friday events and other programming through its social media channels on Facebook at www.facebook.com/firstfridaylasvegas and Twitter @FirstFridayLV.
