Lyft’s drivers submitted their unique stories on why they should be chosen to win $5,000 worth of epic auto upgrades. Out of the numerous submissions, Lyft chose two lucky winners, Jilly Sentino and Tony Parham, to have their cars transformed by Elite Audio Customs & Collision, including custom hot pink paint jobs, state-of-the-art karaoke systems, aftermarket rims and more.

“Lyft was the first opportunity I had for regular income since I lost my job as a truck driver due to a spinal injury I sustained in the military,” said Parham. “I am grateful that Lyft allows me to pay the bills while I am in school and Lyft My Ride shows they truly care about veterans and our challenges.”

“My passengers and I have a head-turning party car now thanks to Lyft and Elite Audio,” said Sentino. “I hit the trifecta – you Lyfted my ride, my spirit and my tips!”

“It was an awesome experience teaming up with Lyft to do something nice for good people,” said Mo Cabradilla, manager of Elite Audio Customs & Collision. “Tricking out cars is our specialty and we were stoked to transform these average cars into something amazing for these drivers.”

“We thought long and hard about different ways to show our appreciation to our drivers,” said Yacob Girma, Lyft Las Vegas general manager. “Lyft My Ride is one of several initiatives to give back to the people who give so much to us in a pretty cool way.”
