Tennesseasonings, a restaurant dedicated to serving tried and true East Tennessee BBQ, is kicking off “Smoked Bologna Wednesdays” (Pictured: Tennesseasonings Smoked Bologna).
Every Wednesday, BBQ lovers can enjoy the special menu item, as a sandwich with coleslaw, chips and choice of sauce for $11, or as hearty platefuls starting at $12.50, which can include additional meat, and two to three southern sides. Each sandwich or plate comes with two slices of smoked bologna and recommended to be enjoyed with the restaurant’s tangy mustard sauce.
A 7 to 8 pound log of bologna is slow-cooked six hours, smoked to perfection and cut into thick, quarter inch slices. This unique Southern specialty is typically enjoyed with baked beans, macaroni and cheese or potato salad all available at Tennesseasonings and prepared fresh daily.
