Las Vegas Home to Great American Comic Convention at Cashman Center Dec. 3-4
The newest addition to the Las Vegas comic book convention scene, the Great American Comic Con, which launched last year, will take over Cashman Center in downtown Las Vegas from Saturday, December 3, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.

Some of the biggest players in the comic book industry, as well as exhibitors, writers, artists, panel discussions, and more will be explored. Attendees will be able to see characters that they have seen in the movies and witness the birth and growth of their favorite superheroes.

This gathering of great comic book creators and memorabilia will include the best comic book writers, artists and professionals who have created memorable characters such as Wolverine, Swamp Thing, Iron Man, and more. Some of the VIP guests who will be mingling with attendees will be those who have worked on titles ranging from the Golden Age of comics all the way to today’s newest and hottest comic book titles.

The Great American Comic Con will feature comic book dealers from across the country as well as Las Vegas’ own dealers who will offer a large selection of comic book memorabilia. Thousands of comics will be for sale including a large selection of graded comics, a Cosplay contest, and door prizes.

There is a growing and impressive list of artist and creators participating this year. Some artists and creators will be appearing for the first time in any comic convention in Las Vegas including: John Romita Jr. who worked on All-Star Batman, Superman, Amazing Spider-Man, Kick-Ass; Bob Layton who developed Iron Man, Hercules, X-Factor; Len Wein who created Swamp Thing, Wolverine, X-Men, The Human Target, and Justice League.

Other big-time comic world individuals will participate in the event, such as 94-year-old Allen Bellman who has spent 75 years in comics and was integral in creating Captain America. He was part of the 1941 creative team that first developed that character and many superheroes over the years. Today he stays active doing art and traveling with his Wonder Woman costume adorned wife, Roslyn.

Tickets range from $5 to $250 and can be purchased by visiting Exhibitor and volunteer information is available by emailing
