The Salted Lime Tequila Bar & Cocina inside Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa has rolled out an array of new menu items to pair with its hard-hitting margaritas (Pictured: Aguachile at The Salted Lime – Photo credit: Chris Wessling).
The Salted Lime’s new items feature a number of classic and contemporary Mexican-inspired favorites made daily using fresh ingredients. New starters include: seafood tostadas with shrimp, calamari, scallops and mussels topped with pickled carrots and serrano peppers; mini sopes featuring three mini corn masa shells filled with beans, queso fresco, lettuce and salad with a choice of chicken, carne asada or carnitas; and aguachile, with a choice of shrimp or seafood mix in a lime juice and cilantro-chile sauce, mixed with cucumber and red onions, and served with corn tortilla chips; among others.

New house specialties include: filete de pescado a la diabla, pan-roasted white fish with ranchero sauce, served with fajita vegetables; Chile Colorado, slow-simmered beef in an authentic Mexican-style red sauce; and a whole red snapper, deep-fried with Mexican spices and served with regular or seasoned fries and spicy Mexican slaw. Other favorite menu items, including the carne asada, pork chile verde, sizzling fajitas and more, remain on the menu and are available in combination plates.
