The Las Vegas Reptile Expo is coming back to the Santa Fe Station this weekend.
The doors open at 10am on Saturday. Tickets are $8 for adults & $5 for kids under 12.
The Las Vegas Reptile Expo is an amazing family event in Las Vegas. Expo Co-Owner and Promoter Joe Danyi says, “We pride ourselves on putting on a show that appeals to all levels of reptile enthusiasts, but we really love seeing the kids show up. They’re the next generation of reptile owners and it’s exciting to see them walking through the show and talking to vendors.”
Vendors travel in from all over the west coast to take part in this expo, and an expo-goer can expect to find chameleons, tortoises, boas, pythons, geckos and just about any kind of reptile the trade has to offer. You’ll also find supply vendors offering food items, enclosures and watering systems. “Our vendors are passionate about reptile ownership, and their knowledge on the subject is incredible,” Danyi says.
The Expo is once again teaming up with KTNV to raise some money for a local charity. Dayna Roselli has chosen the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA) as this year’s beneficiary. Ms. Roselli has been involved with NSPCA as a volunteer and as a foster home for some of the organizations animals. On Friday’s midday newscast, some of the animals showcased at the expo will be stopping by the station to meet the KTNV midday crew, so be sure to tune in.
“This expo makes it number ten for us in Las Vegas, and it’s such a fun and amazing event. The local community here has been so supportive over the years and I can’t thank them enough. The reptile industry is alive and well in Las Vegas,” says Danyi.
