America’s loudest lounge singer is coming back to Las Vegas. Following four sold-out shows in 2015, Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine will return to Sunset Station for a performance in Club Madrid on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 8:30 p.m.
Richard Cheese performs swingin’ Vegas versions of rock, rap and Top-40 hits, “swankifying” contemporary songs into traditional pop vocal standards. Imagine Frank Sinatra singing Radiohead and you’ve got Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine. Since 2000, Cheese has released 14 albums, including Lounge Against The Machine, Tuxicity, Aperitif For Destruction, The Sunny Side Of The Moon, OK Bartender and Atlas Lounged, which featured rare recordings, audio clips and unreleased tracks.
Cheese released three new albums in late 2015, including Swingin’ At The Boulder Theater, Supermassive Black Tux and The Lounge Awakens: Richard Cheese Live at the Mos Eisley Spaceport Cantina, which was released in December 2015.
Cheese has performed to sold-out shows around the world and his songs have been featured in a long list of television and radio programs, including the film “Dawn Of The Dead,” ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “CNN with Anderson Cooper,” “The Jonathan Ross Show,” KROQ’s “Kevin & Bean Show,” and Howard Stern, among others. With his snappy jazz trio, his tiger-striped tuxedo, and his enormous microphone, Richard Cheese presents the perfect mix of music, martini and madcap. Viva Las Queso!
