In 2009, pianist, composer and arranger Scott Bradlee created Postmodern Jukebox when he started uploading videos of himself playing pop hits in a ragtime style to YouTube. Bradlee’s videos began to go viral when award winning novelist Neil Gaiman tweeted about them to his millions of Twitter followers.
Since then, Postmodern Jukebox has transformed into a rotating group of performers who cover modern pop hits with a vintage twist. Over the last seven years, Postmodern Jukebox has acquired 1.5 million subscribers and more than 315 million views on YouTube. The group has covered artists ranging from Lady Gaga and Katy Perry to The Strokes and The White Stripes. In November 2015, the group will kick off its North American tour followed by a European tour in early 2016.
