Epicurean Charitable Foundation of Las Vegas (ECF) will host its grand annual fundraising event, M.E.N.U.S. (Mentoring & Educating Nevada’s Upcoming Students), on Friday, Oct. 9, at The Beach at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino (Pictured: M.E.N.U.S. 2014 – Photo credit: Cashman Photo).
M.E.N.U.S. 2015 will highlight the venue with a beach casual theme and include an extended dine-around featuring samplings and spirits from more than 30 of the top restaurants and specialty vendors in the city in addition to valued distributors including Southern Wine & Spirits and Wirtz Beverage. The dine-around will be complemented by live entertainment from local musicians, a DJ and an elegant silent auction offering one-of-a-kind items.
Proceeds from M.E.N.U.S. support ECF’s primary charitable endeavor of ensuring annual scholarship awards for Clark County high school students seeking careers in the hospitality and food and beverage industries. ECF students play a key role in the execution of every M.E.N.U.S. event, assisting with set-up, dining operations, silent auction and venue and event logistics. This hands-on participation provides a valuable learning experience for the students, allowing them the opportunity to mingle with top industry leaders and bond with one another in a world-class hospitality and culinary environment.
M.E.N.U.S. 2015 is presented by MGM Resorts International. Tickets to the event start at $500 per person, with sponsorship opportunities available at different levels based on contribution and available amenities.
