Las Vegas-based mixologists Tim Weigel and Jair Bustillos are two of the eight finalists in the nationwide competition (Pictured: A New Chateau by Jair Bustillos – Photo courtesy of Azzurre Spirits).
Weigel and Bustillos were chosen from hundreds of applicants who created original wine-inspired cocktails using one of the four eligible Ste. Michelle Wine Estates brands. Finalists must create a second original cocktail recipe using Ste. Michelle Wine Estates’ Michelle Sparkling wine, which they will prepare in addition to their original submissions at the grand finale event in the heart of the French Quarter in New Orleans on Wednesday, July 15.
